The Irony of Joe the Plumber.

Recently, the figure known as “Joe the Plumber” (Joe Wurzelbacher) took a job as a network correspondent on Fox, covering troops in the field.  Liberals are just utterly aghast at the prospect.

The liberal sentiment to people like Sarah Palin and Joe the Plumber is basically, “why don’t you just go away and shut up!”

Election Year Profundity

I make no bones about what I believe: I’m against Barack Obama being President of the United States of America.  I’m (reluctantly) voting for John McCain.  I’m also a (reluctant) Republican.  I’ve really got no other choice here.

I’m a Conservative first, and foremost.  If there were a Democrat – who wasn’t a spawn of Marxist ideological hell – who echoed my views, I’d vote for them.  There aren’t many of those around here in Michigan.  So, my choices are limited.  Ergo, my disdain for Barack Hussein Obama.

Which makes the whole Joe the Plumber (a.k.a. Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher) episode all the more profound and hilarious.
