Biden “Gravitas”

So, I watched parts of Joe Biden’s acceptance speech.  I found at least two instances where he has contradicted himself from previous statements, some made only a year back.

If you want me to offer my assessment of Biden’s contribution to Barak Hussien Obama’s candidacy: he’s a zit waiting to be popped.  It’s pretty obvious to me that he’s swallowing the Obama policy on things, which is just opening him up for attacks from the McCain camp.

Where’s Sean Penn These Days?

Remember when the Left in this country got their panties in a bunch over the Iraq invasion?  You know: how they’ve gone around claiming that this is “Bush’s illegal war”?  Remember them?

 

Ok, what do you call the invasion of Georgia by Russia?  Where’s the condemnation of the world’s nations?  Where are the million-person protests in the streets of major European capitals. Where’s the outrage from the Arab Street (I say jokingly)?  Where are the human shields flying over to Georgia so as to stand in front of hospitals, and prevent the liberty-loving Russians from blowing those commie Georgians back into the Stone Age?

 

More importantly, where’s Sean Penn?  I thought he was all for pacifism, and protecting the innocent from the hell that is war.
