How The Meltdown Started

Barney Frank is probably the last guy who should be out there talking about how Republicans (and deregulation) caused the current fiscal crisis.  The guy is flat-out lying through his teeth.  This whole mess wasn’t started by Republicans at all.  It was started by Democrats.  And Democrats guaranteed the failure of both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

And make no mistake, that’s where all of this started in the first place: Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

For those of you not intimately aware of what Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are, let me explain them to you.  They are known was Government Sponsored Enterprises (aka: GSE), which means that they are pseudo-government programs that act under the veil of private enterprise.  And you’ll hear Democrat sycophants tell about how these were “free market entities” that failed.  This too is a lie, and I’ll follow up more with that in a bit.

Palin’s Lack of Foreign Policy Experience.

You’ve probably heard that line again and again.  That Sarah Palin lacks any “significant foreign policy experience”, or that she’s never met with a head of state?

It’s a lie.

Looking around the Internet, and I came across an article in the The Anchorage Daily News:

Joe Biden is now ripping his own campaign’s advertising tactics.  The sad fact of the matter is, he’s right.  But you just have to wonder where in the hell his brain is sometimes.

Famous Community Organizers

The Democrats are all in a tizzy because Barak (The Nazarine) Obama’s position of “community organizer” is under attack.  Of course, they were the FIRST to point out that Sarah Palin’s political career started out in a small city.  This, of course, doesn’t erase the fact that even if she were still the mayor of Wasilla, Alaska she’d STILL have more executive experience than The Nazarine.

Details, details.  Pffth!

Much is being touted about Barak Obama’s “community organizer” experience, and what a “good thing” that is.  Ok.  Cool.  Let’s contrast that with other (in)famous, well-known community organizers that you may know.

Sometimes, you can’t make this kind of stuff up.  Rep. Steven Cohen (D-TN) said from the floor of the House of Representatives:
